- Lapis Lazuli - Lapis Lazuli is known to be a protective stone, it possesses enormous serenity and is a key to spiritual attainment. Buddhist beliefs recommended Lapis Lazuli as a stone to bring inner peace and freedom from negative thoughts.
Lapis Lazuli is a sodium aluminium silicate with sulfur, chlorine and hydroxyl and variable inclusions of pyrite and white calcite. Its name comes from the ancient Persian word lazhuward which means “blue”. Ancient Egyptians, Greeks and Romans used Lapis in their jewelry as far back as 3100BC. -

Jewellery Care
Jewellery Care
To keep your jewellery looking and feeling as great as it did the first day you wore it here are a few tips and tricks that i have picked up over the years.
- Put your jewellery on after using cosmetics, such as hairspray or perfumes to avoid contact with substances and chemicals which may cause damage.
- Take care to protect all your pieces that are finished with semi-precious stones and glass from any hard impact.
- Watch out for pool swimming because chlorine and related chemicals can severely discolor and damage your jewellery.
- Protect all your jewellery from abrasive surfaces, harsh chemicals, extreme sunlight and temperatures.
- You may not be aware but all precious metal jewellery tarnishes overtime when exposed to body oils and other natural elements and thus requires occasional cleaning.
- The best way to clean your jewellery regularly is with a soft polishing cloth. This will remove light tarnishing.
- Please do not use cleaning solutions, polishes and/or tarnish removal on pearls or semi-precious stones. This will damage the stone and make it loose its power and colour.
- To keep your jewellery in the best condition, when not wearing it, I recommend keeping it in an airtight bag, away from direct sunlight and hot environments.
